French Press

YOU WILL NEED
The Laundress Scented Vinegar, Copper Cloth, The Laundress Dish Detergent, Glass & Crystal Cleaning Brush

STEP 1
Disassemble the coffee maker, removing the rubber seal and strainer from the base.

STEP 2
Fill with Scented Vinegar and hot water, allowing to soak to remove buildup.

STEP 3
If there are residual stains or excess buildup, use the Copper Cloth to scrub the strainer, rubber seal, and top and bottom halves of the coffee maker. Allow the mixture to sit on these parts. If you do not have this, proceed to handwash.

STEP 4
Handwash the pieces with the Dish Detergent and the Glass & Crystal Cleaning Brush, rinse well with cold water, and let air dry.

GATHER THESE TOOLS:
Lint-Free Cleaning Cloths, Scented Vinegar

STEP 1
Wash any removable parts in warm, soapy water and dry.

STEP 2
Wipe the surface of the machine with Lint-Free Cleaning Cloths, paying special attention to any areas where espresso granules may have collected.

STEP 3
Put a mug under the spout. Fill the reservoir with ½ Scented Vinegar and ½ water and start the brew cycle without an espresso capsule or K-Cup. Repeat until the reservoir is empty, discarding the mug contents each time.

STEP 4
Repeat the process in step 3 but this time, fill the reservoir entirely with cold water only.

STEP 5
When the brewing process is complete, dry the inside with the Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth. Once dry, give the outside of your machine a good wipe down with the Surface Cleaner and the Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth.
